Big Blon' Baby

(version 1) Roberts-Jacobson, 1960.  Recorded: 06-10-60

Johnny Kidd (vocals) - Alan Caddy (rthm) - Brian Gregg (bass) - Clem Catinni (drums)

Alan Caddy was maturing into a fine guitarist as this pair of tracks that appeared on Parlophone's "Saturday Club" LP in 1960 shows.  Both are good performances and may have been candidates for single release (the other track being "Weep No More My Baby") that was shelved in the light of the groups success with original songs.  "Big Blon Baby" has a nice simple structure, the chords neatly  brushed by Alan Caddy who tops it all off with a good solo.
